Sam Jovanovich of Humbird Wisconsin passed away at home on June 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Sam lost a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Sam was a proud army veteran. He was a hardworking man with many skills and talents. He was a great mechanic and auto body specialist. He loved sawing lumber and had a sawmill for many years. Sam and Mary owned a campground for 25 years and Sam loved to socialize with everyone!
His interests included fishing, hunting, flying RC airplanes and working on classic cars and trucks. He loved playing his guitar and singing classic country songs. When he was younger, he had a band and he loved entertaining folks. Sam was a real cowboy at heart. Sam also enjoyed cheering on the Packers!
Sam was survived by his loving wife Mary of 57 years, his three great kids, Tammy (David), John (Randa), Sam (Cindy), and 8 wonderful grandchildren, Samantha, Ben, Evan, John Allen, Mikayla, Nolan, Amanda and Dalton and many other family and friends.
Sam will be sadly missed by all and we truly cherish the time we had with him.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
