Raymond Lester Fredrick

Raymond L. Fredrick, age 75, of Neillsville, WI, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.

Ray was born on November 4, 1950, in Hartford, WI, the son of Harold and Grace (Eske) Fredrick. He graduated from Johnson Creek High School.

Throughout his life, Ray worked as a bartender and owned several bars. He enjoyed the friendships he made along the way and was known for his great sense of humor.

Ray loved the color red, horses, watching westerns and enjoying a Windsor and 7. He appreciated the simple pleasures in life and sharing a laugh with those around him. Ray faced significant health challenges, and he will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Ray is survived by his children, Nikki Fredrick and Gary (Michelle) Haarklau of Madison, WI; his granddaughter, Kylee Garity; Gary's six children; his former wife, Beverly Huebel; and his stepchildren, Char Morrell and Jerome Cusick. He is further survived by his stepgrandchildren, Elyse Cusick, Ian Cusick, Cody Morrell and Tanner Cusick; his siblings, Patsy Wuestenberg of Johnson Creek, WI, Harold (Pam) Fredrick of Watertown, WI, Carol Lockinger of Fairchild, WI, Bobby (Cindy) Fredrick of Watertown, WI, and Tammy (Ron) Weber of Strum, WI; his best friend, Randy Carl; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Grace Fredrick; a sibling; and his stepdaughter, Janet Cusick.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
