Pamela "Pam" Sue Eibergen

Jan 13, 1965 — Jun 28, 2026

York Township

Pamela (Pam) Sue Eibergen age 61 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday June 28, 2026. Pam was born on January 13, 1965 to Arnold and Delores (Bush) Opelt. Growing up Pam had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses. In high school she was a barrel racer, participating in numerous events. Pam graduated from Granton High School and married the love of her life, Keith Eibergen. They recently celebrated 44 years of marriage on June 26th.

Pam loved being a mom to her four children. She spent many Tuesday evenings shucking peas or snipping beans watching her kids play baseball at the Granton Park. Pam was actively involved in a Co-Ed Bowling League, Granton Music Boosters, Granton Athletic Boosters, and Granton FFA Alumni. Pam was a leader for the Romadka 4-H club, sharing her knowledge of leather craft. She was an avid snowmobiler putting on many miles with the Neillsville/Granton Trailbusters Snowmobile Club. Pam was an active member of the Granton Young Adults and the Romadka Daisies Homemakers Club, making lifelong friends.

Pam was known for her large gardens, baked goods, and canning her “almost famous” pickles, salsa and spaghetti sauces. She loved a good wine and dark chocolate. Her greatest love was her eleven grandkids. She enjoyed taking them on day trips, going to their events, and organizing the Annual Eibergen Camp.

Over the years Pam held many jobs besides mom and grandma. She milked cows alongside Keith on their dairy farm and for Merryvale Farms after they joined the corporation. She was a bus driver for Granton School, built cabinets for Westwood Kitchens, worked as a transporter and then an EKG Tech for the Marshfield Medical Center. Most recently, she worked in the kitchen at Neillsville School and then Bookkeeper for Abby Vans until she was no longer able.

Pam was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Loyal where she served on the church council, sang in the choir, co-chaired the Annual Fall Festival and volunteered on other committees.

Pam will be deeply missed by her husband Keith and her four children Candy (Steve) Turnquist, Julie (Mark) Kayhart, Dana (Jim) Twernbold, and Cory (Michelle) Eibergen. Eleven grandchildren Madison, Sawyer, Trevor, Casey Turnquist; Anna, Peter, Phillip, Andrew Kayhart; Zooey, Azra Twernbold; and Leena Eibergen. Her siblings Roger (Jeanie) Opelt, Carol (Rick Kirby) Gurney, Bradley (Darlene), Dean (Lori), and Terry (Diane) Opelt. Her in-laws Jeffrey (Sarah), Gary (Roxy), Eric (Mary Kultgen), Kent (Julia) Eibergen and Dawn (Charlie) Hines. As well as many nieces and nephews whom she cherished and loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Delores, her in-laws Dick and Betty Eibergen, sister-in-law Gwen Eibergen and brother-in-law Jerry Gurney.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lawler, Tammy, Denise and Moriah for all of their care and guidance.
