Edward Kaczmarek, age 89, of Neillsville, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026.

He was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin, and was united in marriage to Carol on Valentine's Day, 1959. Formerly of Cudahy, Wisconsin, Ed spent the last thirty years of his retirement residing in Neillsville. He enjoyed bike riding, swimming, fishing, playing cards, and hunting, and was best known for his unique creativity.

He is survived by his loving daughters: Betty (Don), Teresa, Gloria (Tim), and Elaine (Ed); grandchildren: Chrissy, Greg (Renee), Jenny (Ed), Jason, Amanda (Kurt), Miranda (Darrick), Jeff (Kristy), Robert (Sharlea), and Melissa (Chris); and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, a brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol; his parents, Bill and Anna; a grandchild, Mary Ann; brothers and sisters; and several in-laws.

Funeral services for Ed will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2026, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Fr. Greg Michaud will officiate. Interment will be in the Dells Dam Cemetery in Neillsville, with military honors performed by the Neillsville Veteran's Council. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24th at the Gesche Funeral Home.
