Dennis Ray Oldham

December 6, 1952 — May 4, 2026

Dennis Ray Oldham passed away peacefully on the morning of February 28, 2026, at North Central Care Facility in Marshfield, Wisconsin, following a battle with natural causes.

Dennis was born on December 6, 1942, in Neillsville WI, to Ray and Dorothy (Boon) Oldham, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his brother, Jimmy Oldham. He was united in marriage on May 18, 1985.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Linda May (Polzin) Oldham; his sons, James Oldham and Douglas Polzin; his sisters, Erdyne Payne, Mary Ann Langreck, and Linda Polzin; and his brothers, Gale, Jack, Eugene, and Leroy Oldham.

Dennis was born and raised in Neillsville, Wisconsin, where he spent much of his life working in the dairy industry. Growing up on a dairy farm led to his strong work ethic and lifelong appreciation for hard work. He worked at the foundry in town while also milking cows at home. Later, he worked at the DFA cheese plant outside of Greenwood, Wisconsin, during which he had stopped milking cows. Dennis eventually fulfilled a dream of owning his own business, operating J & D Service in Augusta, Wisconsin, for ten years before retiring at the age of 62.

Dennis found great joy in the outdoors and treasured the time coon hunting and fishing with friends in his youth. He always had a passion for baseball, and loved the Brewers. He also enjoyed watching the Packers on Sundays with his son.

A Celebration of Life for Dennis will be held at Strike Time Lanes in Neillsville on July 24, 2026.
