Carol Hagen

Carol Jean Sturtz Hagen, age 73, a resident of the Neillsville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville for the past 8 years, died Monday, October 18, 2010 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, WI where she had been admitted as a patient earlier this past week.She was born in Loyal, WI on May 5, 1937 to parents Howard Sr. and Cassie Sturtz.She grew up in Loyal and attended Loyal Public Schools.Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed making crafts.She is survived by her children; Connie (Jeff) Strack, Dale (Robin) Hagen, John (Pam) Hagen, Lois (John) Halverson, Nancy (Tom) Gorst, Dennis (Colette) Hagen, Sharon (Jeff) Kundinger, Larry Hagen and Julie (Garett Kuhn) Hagen, 29 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.She is further survived by two brothers; Donald Sturtz of Powhatan, Howard (Virginia) Sturtz II, of Eau Claire, WI.Preceding Carol in death are her Mother; Cassie Gray Sturtz in 1953 (age 53), her father, Howard Sturtz, Sr. in 1993 (age 91), a brother, Herbert in 1928, a sister, Bernadine Miller in 2005 and a son, Wilbur Howard Hagen in 2000.Funeral arrangements will be at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville.There will be a cremation with the funeral services being held at a later date.
