Loraine Lincoln, age 63, of Minneapolis, MN died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.Loraine Marolyn Lincoln was born on August 21, 1948 in Harvard, IL the daughter of Albert and Violet (Felgenhauer) Lincoln. In November of that year, when Loraine was three months old her parents purchased a farm in Neillsville, WI. She attended Shortville and Washburn grade schools and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1966. Loraine then attended Crown College in Minneapolis, MN and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education. In 1971, she began working for Minnesota Fabrics Company, and in 1981 she became the assistant manager of Minnesota Fabrics in Madison, WI. In 1983, she moved back to Minneapolis to care for her sister who was ill. In 1984, she took a job with the Hennepin Co. Medical Center Vital Records department. Later, she transferred to patient services coordinator and retired in May of 2011.In her spare time Loraine was an avid reader and she enjoyed sewing, upholstery, computer solitaire and was known as a fix-it-upper.She is survived by a daughter, Ashley Lincoln of Minneapolis, MN, two grandchildren, Erik and Christopher, two brothers, Charles Lincoln of Moses Lake, WA and his children, Steve and Charnett, and Gerald (Kathryn) Lincoln of Mount Joy, PA and their children, Bruce, Rebekah and Sarah, and two sisters, Jean Lincoln of Hopkins, MN and Norma (L.C.) Lincoln of Hopkins, MN. A brother-in-law, Jack (Pam) Tanem of Ham Lake, MN and his children, Tanya, Joel and Brian.Funeral Services for Loraine will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, WI. Pastor Ralph Schram will officiate. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
