Sherri Ray Giordano

Sherri Ray Giordano, age 64, born on December 25, 1947 to Sam and Marian (Carl) Ray, died on January 9th, 2012 at the University Hospital in Madison, WI.Sherri attended Neillsville Schools graduating in 1966 and attended and graduated from U.W. Stevens Point and continued on achieving her Master's Degree in Finance. During high school Sherri participated in various activities such as band, class plays and forensics. While attending the U.W. Stevens Point her debate team won the State Championship.Sherri was married to Joseph Giordano in 1975 in Milwaukee. They made their home in Oregon before moving to Madison. Sherri had been in ill health since suffering a stroke on December 12, 2005 and was being cared for in her home by her husband, Joe, in Madison. Funeral services for Sherri will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville. Pastor Bryan Olson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church prior to the service on Tuesday.
