Jean Joan Cecil

Jean Cecil, age 75, of Huntley, IL died Monday, November 12, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI.Jean Joan Grottke was born on September 9, 1937 in Neillsville, WI the daughter of Ben and Bertha (Meske) Grottke. She graduated from Neillsville High School in 1955 and then lived in Wisconsin, California and Illinois.She is survived by four children, Louie (Marsha) Metcalf of Villa Park, IL, Larry (Karen) Metcalf of Willowbrook, IL, Lisa Pease of Huntley, IL and Lori (Dennis) Danielson of Lake In The Hills, IL, six grandchildren, Nick, Rebecca, Jessica, Craig, David and Eric and many great grandchildren. Jean is also survived by her mother, Bertha Grottke of Neillsville, WI, a sister, Carol Johnson of Humbird, WI, a brother, Roger (Linda) Grottke of Neillsville, WI and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her first husband, LaVern Metcalf, her second husband, Dan Cecil and her father, Ben Grottke.Survivor Services for Jean will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, WI. Pastor Timothy Biebert will officiate. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
