Shirley Marie Davis

Shirley Davis, age 82, of Granton, WI died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her home.Shirley Marie Davis was born on December 12, 1930 in the Town of York, Granton, WI, the daughter of Truman Eldred and Myrtie Mae (Peaslee) Davis. She lived with her brother, Warren, her entire life and was a life-long member of the York Center United Methodist Church and their Ladies Aid. Shirley worked for the Weinbrenner Shoe Company in Marshfield for many years, retiring in 1984.She is survived by her son, Jim (Cindy) Davis of Marshfield, WI, four grandchildren, Jennifer Landwehr, Jim (Becky) Davis, Tiffany (Quenton) Draeger and Travis (Kari) Landwehr, six great grandchildren, Jordan Landwehr, Ashley Landwehr, Evan Davis, Olivia Draeger, Amelia Hoelzlhammer and Maddie Draeger. Shirley is also survived by a brother, Marvin (Mable) Davis of Plato, MO and three sisters, Angeline (Robert) Schultz of Greenwood, WI, Patricia (Bernie) Kitzhaber of Greenwood, WI and Ila Mae (Bill) Wolf of Nekoosa, WI, along with numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Warren.Funeral Services for Shirley will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the York Center United Methodist Church. Pastor Patsy Roe will officiate. Music will be provided by Lori Rowe. Interment will be in the York Center Cemetery.
