Ris A. Schoen, 53, of Neillsville passed away on March 26, 2014.Ris was born in Marshfield on August 20, 1960, to her parents Eugene and Yvonne Rendmeister. She attended Marshfield High School but graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1978. She met her husband, Ed Schoen at the roller rink in Hatfield and the two were married on April 17, 1982 in Black River Falls. During her life, Ris worked various waitress jobs. In 2000, she began her current position as a medical driver for Abby Vans. Ris was a fun, loving, and caring wife and mother. She loved to ride horses, go camping, boating, roller skating, and reading. Ris was also a regular at many sporting events and could be heard cheering on her sons in football, wrestling, and track.Her memory will live on in her devoted husband Ed Schoen, sons John, Bob, Dan; mother Yvonne Rendmeister; siblings Rhonda Rendmeister, Rene (Shorty) Dresher, Rand (Lisa) Rendmeister, Ryan (Jeannie) Rendmeister, Roxanne (Doug) Shultz, along with numerous nieces and nephews.Ris was preceded in death by her father Eugene Rendmeister who pasted away one year ago on March 26, 2013, father in law Edward W Schoen and niece Bethany Opelt.Ris will be deeply missed by her family.A Mass of Christian Burial for Ris will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville. The Celebrant will be Rev. Joseph V. Varkey. Music will be provided by Ronald Resong, organist and St. Mary's Choir. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.Casket Bearers are: John Schoen, Robert Schoen, Daniel Schoen, Nick Rendmeister, Adam Rendmeister and Zachary Zschernitz.Funeral Home:Gesche Funeral Home4 South Grand AvenueNeillsville, WIUS 54456
