Marion Helena Rayburn

Marion Rayburn, age 98, of Neillsville, WI died Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Neillsville Care and Rehabilitation Center.Marion Helena Riley was born on November 17, 1917 in Toronto, Canada the daughter of Arthur C. and Iva Jean (Blackhall) Riley. She attended Bradley University in Peoria, IL and was united in marriage to Fred C. Rayburn on August 4, 1937 in Peoria by her father Rev. Arthur C. Riley. Marion and Fred were married for 75 years.She was a member of the Living Hope Evangelical Free Church in Neillsville.She is survived by 3 sons, Fred (Donna) Rayburn of Glenview, IL, Charles (Joann) Rayburn of Onalaska, WI and Daniel Rayburn of Pittsville, WI, a daughter, Kathleen Claybaugh of Watauga, TX, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a brother, Rev. Donald Riley of Alton, IL and two sisters, Dorothy Fuller of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Frances Bierly of Peoria, IL.Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Rayburn, a daughter, Barbara Rugg, a son-in-law, George Rugg, a daughter-in-law, Joy Rayburn, her parents, a brother, Arthur Riley, a sister, Muriel Zaderaka and three brothers-in-law, Fred Zaderaka, Rodney Fuller and Richard Bierley.A Memorial Service for Marion will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. David Skiff will officiate the service.
