Joseph Daniel Rueth

Joseph Rueth, age 59, of Neillsville, WI died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI.Joseph Daniel Rueth was born on May 28, 1957 in Marshfield, WI the son of Sylvester and Dorothy (Frye) Rueth. He graduated from Loyal High School and then attended Mid-State Technical College in Marshfield. After that, Joe, moved to Milwaukee for a short time. He returned to Marshfield and worked various jobs, including bartending at several of the taverns, managing the shoe department at Prange's and owning a bar. He was united in marriage to Debra Jane Boushon on June 3, 1988 in the park at Marshfield. They moved to Neillsville in 1990 and were foster parents for many years. Joe worked at Sunburst and Nelson Industries. He had a passion for antiques and owned and operated an antique store in downtown Neillsville. They later moved the store to their home in the country. Joe loved little animals and tending to his garden. He loved Christmas time and Santas, and he had a talent for refurbishing furniture. Joe had a wide array of knowledge that he was willing to share with anyone.He is survived by his wife, Deb, three children, John Rueth of Neillsville, AJ Rueth of Neillsville and Richard Rueth of Eau Claire, one grandson, Addler Joseph Rueth, three siblings, Mike Rueth of Neillsville, Bill (LuAnn) Rueth of Loyal, and Mary (Joe) Weyer of Loyal, and a brother-in-law, Ollie "Allen" Schultz of Virginia Beach, VA. They were so blessed to have Joe in their family. He will be in their hearts forever.He was preceded in death his parents, a sister, Barb and an infant brother.Funeral Services for Joe will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Terry Marg will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Gesche Funeral Home.Online Condolences may be made at www.geschefh.com.
